The image of the Arab city has changed between yesterday and today, in a terrible and rapid way, and there is no doubt that this rapid change has affected the Arab narrative discourse. Semiotic analysis is an important analysis that seeks to uncover the connotations that hide behind the shadows of the meanings of the contemporary city. And what the semiotic analysis will seek in this research is the disclosure of the various images represented by the city of Mecca between yesterday and today? And how is the state of the individual in this space (Makkah)?
