The Algerian Islamic press appeared at the beginning of the twentieth century under the French occupation, which tried to eliminate the national spirit and cultural affiliation of Algeria. However, the emergence of the Algerian intellectual class, which took intellectual and penal resistance as a way to confront this occupation and expose its policies through the establishment of newspapers, magazines, and journals, all aimed at enlightening the people.
