Regarding flavonoids, Chenopodium murale showed a large amount compared to the rest of the plants, and slightly less than it was Convolvulus arvensis, then Sonchus asper with a very low amount, and Cyperus rotundus the amount was almost non-existent. -In estimating the antioxidant activity by testing DPPH* the aqueous extracts of the four plants showed the antioxidant efficacy of the four plant extracts studied and with values of approximately IC 50 , Whereas IC50 was elevated in Chenopodium murale and slightly lower in Convolvulus arvensis , then with a slight difference Cyperus rotundus then Sonchus asper These results are generally high when compared to The IC 50value of ascorbic acidArChenopodium murale, Convolvulus arvensis،Cyperus rotundus, Sonchus asper, the activity of the antioxidant, DPPH* testالأعشاب المنافسة للمحاصيل الزراعيةMaster
