Most of the concerns have focused on the promising opportunities of this interactive technology revolution to revive political life. This presented the concept of digital democracy to be debated as a whole set of practices that can create electronic links, enabling active participation in policy-making. The aim of the study was to highlight digital democracy as a phenomenon resulting from the use of ICT to promote democracy, noting its potential for political participation and the existing challenges.
