For isolation of cellulose fibers, first rachis the was subjected to different chemical treatments to eliminate non-cellulosic compounds.The extracted cellulose were confirmed by SEM, FT-IR and XRD results indicated chemical treatment employed was effective in removing compounds other than cellulose.
