What we attracts the potential reader while looking thoughtfully at Jabra's fictional works is a certain fertility in ideas and a deep cultural vision which together express the power of tools under the control of creative author as well as his ability to go beyond the mechanisms of outdated narrative works. In his last work Sarab Affan's diaries, two main ideas emerge very clearly: the relative which strangles and suffocates the self, and the absolute which purifies and liberates it.
