Abstract: The study aimed to monitor the extent to which Algerian researchers use Chat GPT to help complete their research and scientific studies and the advantages it provides them , and the degree of scientific and ethical awareness of the risks and limitations of its use in scientific research, by relying on the descriptive approach using an electronic form, The study found that Chat GPT is of interest to Algerian researchers in general and doctoral students in particular, because it provides them with many advantages through enriching research ideas, translation, summarizing and providing references, in addition to there is a great awareness among Algerian researchers about the security and ethical risks of using Chat GPT, foremost of which is the violation of copyright and intellectual property and providing unreliable references.en-USartificial intelligenceChat GPT technologyInnovationScientific ResearchAlgerian researchersArticle
