The findings demonstrated that implementing good governance is the key to combating corruption through the mechanisms of efficiency, effectiveness, transparency, accountability, participation, and the rule of law. Through the development and successful implementation of a well-defined strategy, information is provided and resources are used as efficiently and effectively as possible. The government, citizens, and civil society (associations) must work together to achieve good governance and its mechanisms in the fight against corruption.
